Urgent opening For Sourcing Manager (TV) with a renowned MNC

Location : Bangalore, Karnataka

Candidates should be from a CONSUMER DURABLES background with experience in FINISHED PRODUCT SOURCING. Candidates with consulting background not required.

Job Description-

1.The Sourcing Function at is responsible to work with Category & matrix functions to create long term sourcing strategy for each category / product, identify best partners for the company and ensure the best value sourcing solutions and continuously work on cost

improvements ensuring highest levels of customer satisfaction.

2. You will be working on:

a) Supplier Mapping and Supplier Relationship Management :

- Create Supplier data base of all potential suppliers for our needs

- Lead RFQs, audits and prototyping process to create business case for the shortlisted supplier(s)

- Responsible to present the final business case proposal, including Risk Assessment / Gap Analysis and plans to close these actions to Steering Group ensuring supplier start up decision is taken.

b) Identify the clusters for supplier base and prioritize clusters - both domestic & international Cost Management :

- Responsible to work with Cost Break Down models for all products

- Responsible to drive cost improvement initiatives and deliver constant savings

- Benchmark cost data with market to deliver cost improvements

Desired Skills :

- Candidates should be from a CONSUMER DURABLES background with experience in FINISHED PRODUCT SOURCING. Candidates with consulting background not required.

- Minimum 4 yrs years of relevant experience in Sourcing in General trade sector/ Consumable sector. (some examples but not limited to Aluminum foils, paper cups, tissue papers, Cleaning solutions/ Non Food segment etc..)

- Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills

- Strong understanding of technology and business

- Ability to connect with people across teams & levels

- Strong in costing and negotiation.

- Willing to Travel
