Roles and Responsibilities

The charter of the Seller Finance team @ Payment Group (FPG) is to enable financial solutions / services for a wider set of sellers. The other core verticals of FPG are Consumer Lending, Insurance, Payments and Co-Branded cards. 

For the Seller Finance vertical, FPG aspires to provide access to credit constructs in association with strategic partners. The focus is on enabling credit access for sellers with limited or no access to credit. In this role, the potential hire would be a part of a team responsible for building commercial lending business for the organization. 

Major Responsibilities: As a core member of team, you would be responsible for driving the following KPIs :

  • The incumbent will own the P&L of the business, plan & put into action the items which will have a favorable impact on the business P&L
  • Own & drive the core metrics of New Acquisition & Adoption among sellers
  • The person will be responsible for working closely with Product & tech team to ensure that all initiatives prioritized basis the impact expected & are closed in a timely manner
  • Driving awareness and adoption of credit constructs through internal teams like category teams and merchandising teams via product features, category integration, incentivisation, etc.
  • Working with the analytics team to design and maintain dashboards for tracking the success metrics
  • Bringing in innovation in the adoption initiatives and driving with teams within or outside organization

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 3-4  years of overall experience 
  • Existing experience in FinTech space; experience in commercial finance / lending / banking is preferred
  • Strong problem solving and comfort in dealing with large volumes of data
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders
  • Proficient presentation skills
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working in a constantly evolving business environment
  • Good understanding of excel with Structured Problem-Solving approach 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent business acumen,
  • Communication & negotiation skills,
  • Project management
