Hiring Senior Manager 2 in Sell-Electronics (marketing) For a reputed E-Commerce Co. at Bangalore

About the role

 A Sell side role at Ecommerce entails category management based on deep customer centricity, strong analytics, sharp planning and story-telling coupled with product/tech understanding for an enhanced customer experience.

 The Sell head will have complete ownership of all demand initiatives for the category and  will play a pivotal role in enabling the business to achieve the customer, revenue and profitability objectives.

What you'll do:

  • Customer understanding: Be the voice of the customer internally. Understand consumer shopping patterns both offline and online. Stay on top of changing trends and strategic priorities through in-depth data analysis to predict customer behavior
  • Product & Experience: Influence product roadmap to deliver superior customer experience for these categories. Launch/Relaunch new categories with superior user experience. Experiment to deliver the best shopping experience with superior cataloging. Own the customer experience/store creation for the category - make navigation, discovery easier
  • P&L Management: All planning tasks related to topline and bottomline levers - monthly as well as annual plans. Plan, monitor, and course correct to manage the P&L for multiple categories to deliver bottom line targets
  • Go To Market - Merchandising & Traffic: Work with teams to build traffic from channels like Search, Reco & Merch. Work with marketing to identify the best RoI initiatives to build awareness and encourage trial across channels SEM, SEO & Ecommerce properties. Understand Social media marketing, SEM, SEO and CRM. Develop and execute plans leveraging consumer understanding and showcase the right products at the right touchpoints. Build an analytical approach in merchandising to optimize properties within Ecommerce with the right mix of products to maximize sale units and GMV.
  • Drive Conversion- Understand the customer and identify levers to boost the category conversion. Analyze and understand conversion across traffic sources & offers to optimize conversion.
  • Develop the right pricing policy - identify opportunities for giving customers value through intelligent and limited discounting. Use pricing to drive portfolio mix and achieve strategic goals across topline and bottomline. Own both creation and execution of monthly promotional calendar baking in larger trends and events.
  • People leadership: Build, retain and groom a strong team to deliver across functions. Set goals, define KPIs and ensure team tracks effectively towards goals

What youll need:

  • Educational background Graduation, MBA from Tier 1 Institute (batch 2015-2016)
  • Desire and ability to think like the customer .
  • Comfortable to work in a new org where processes and roles will be defined as we work
  • Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion
  • Highly analytical
  • Willing to take calculated risks to grow the category

  Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills

  • Strong understanding of technology and business
  • Must be willing to learn

  Ability to connect with people across teams & levels
