Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Handling the entire accounting of purchases for the retail business including provisions, within specified deadlines with accurate reporting in MIS and audit.
  • Validation of all volume discount claims raised by the company on various vendors as per purchase agreements and schemes.
  • Detailed variance analysis of Actuals Vs Forecast.
  • Accurate pricing of orders ensuring zero value leakage.
  • Preparation of Monthly P&L and Balance sheet for review with the Controllers.
  • Responsible for timely closure of books for the month with a comprehensive approach of the Financials.
  • Strengthening the Balance sheet review process with more emphasis on aged items.
  • Understanding the various stakeholders (Retail/Sales/Planning team) requirements and delivering the requisites on time with total focus on Business.
  • Inventory Accounting.
  • Perform costing run prior to book close to ensure the materials are valued correctly at standard price.

Qualification: CA (mandatory)
